This page sets out the limits of what we are responsible for. It is meant to be read alongside our terms and conditions, not instead of them.
01Information on this website
The content on this website is provided for general information about our services. We keep it accurate and current as far as we reasonably can, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or up to date at every moment.
Nothing on this website is an offer, a commitment to provide services, or a quotation. Rates, features and timelines described here are indicative. What binds us is your merchant agreement.
Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice. If a decision turns on any of those, take advice from someone qualified to give it.
02We are not a bank
TrustPay [Registered Entity Name] Private Limited provides payment technology and related services. We are not a bank or a non-banking financial company. We do not accept deposits, we do not pay interest, and we do not lend.
Funds collected on your behalf move through regulated banking channels and are held in accounts maintained with our banking partners in accordance with applicable regulations.
03Payment processing
We provide the technology that initiates and tracks a transaction. Authorisation, clearing and settlement depend on banks, card networks, NPCI and other systems that we do not own or control.
We do not guarantee that any individual transaction will succeed. Transactions fail for reasons that sit outside our systems — insufficient funds, issuer decline, expired instruments, bank downtime, network outage or a risk decision by another participant.
Where the platform itself is unavailable, our responsibility is limited to restoring service and to the terms set out in your merchant agreement.
04Settlement timelines
Settlement cycles quoted anywhere on this website are indicative and subject to banking system availability, business days, public holidays, regulatory instruction and your assessed risk profile.
A settlement can be delayed or withheld where a transaction is under investigation, where fraud is suspected, or where a bank, network or regulator directs it. Delay in those circumstances is not a breach on our part.
05Merchant conduct
Merchants using the platform are independent businesses. They are responsible for the goods and services they sell, for the accuracy of what they advertise, for delivery, for their own refund and cancellation terms, and for their dealings with their customers.
We do not endorse, verify or take responsibility for any merchant's products, claims or conduct. A payment processed through our systems is not a recommendation of the business that received it.
If you are a customer of a merchant and have a complaint about goods or services, raise it with that merchant. Where the complaint concerns a payment itself, your bank's dispute process applies.
06Third-party services and links
The platform depends on third-party systems, including banks, card networks, NPCI and infrastructure providers. Interruptions in those systems can affect the service, and we are not liable for their failures.
Where this website links to an external site, the link is for convenience. We do not control that site and are not responsible for its content, accuracy or privacy practices.
07Descriptions of planned functionality
Where this website describes functionality that is planned or in development, it is a description of intent and not a commitment to deliver it, on any particular timeline or at all. Do not make a purchasing decision on the basis of functionality that is not live today.
08Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect and consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business and loss of goodwill arising from use of this website or the platform.
Our liability under your merchant agreement is limited as set out in that agreement and in our terms and conditions. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
